Taking Some Time Off

I'll be taking some well-earned time off for the next couple of weeks. Answers to email questions and other correspondence will get done after I'm back to work.

Doesn't Anyone Check Time Zones Anymore?

Another statutory holiday here today, and (as usual) the first telephone call came in around 07:00. Didn't the etiquette used to be 10:00 on holidays, or even 08:00? Sure it was 10:00 or so on the east coast, but don't they check time zones before phoning? Luckily I'm not a late sleeper, but that's my prime meditation time. I really must remember to keep the ringer shut off for holiday mornings. OK, grumbling finished - Back to enjoyment!
