Suggested Christmas Gifts Based on the Hands

I've been asked to do a few reporter and radio interviews lately on the topic of looking at someone's hands to suggest the best Christmas gifts for them - A fun little subject. The basic technique that anyone can do is to view the hand size (small or large) and firmness (hard or soft hands).

Large hard hands are quite competitive, driven, and detail-oriented, so they enjoy receiving new equipment for their favorite sport or hobby. Something to really improve their game or score, and give them a real edge over the competition.

Large soft hands are far less competitive, but still detail-oriented. They prefer getting the latest high-tech devices, so look towards electronic gadgets, computers, hardware or software.

Small hard hands need something practical and useful. Get them power tools, gardening tools, clothes, or car accessories.

Small soft hands like receiving things that help their social life or save them time. Things like home small appliances or cel phones go over well.

If the hands are medium length, then compare the finger length to palm length. If the fingers are longer than the palm, then go with the large hands gifts. If the fingers are smaller then the palm, then go with small hands suggestions. If the fingers and palm are about the same length, then consider the hand to be true medium size. Medium hands, hard or soft, like to socialize and just "do their own thing". These are the ones who prefer gift certificates from places they like to shop or eat at anyway.
